Manchester United have made a significant addition to their coaching staff by appointing Andreas Georgson as another first-team coach.
The announcement was made by the Red Devils on their official website in preparation for their upcoming pre-season friendly against Arsenal.
Georgson will be working under the guidance of Man United's manager, Erik Ten Hag, alongside existing first-team coaches Steve McClaren and Darren Fletcher in a revamped coaching setup.
Andreas Georgson, aged 42, previously served as the head coach at Norwegian club Lillestrom before joining the Premier League powerhouse. His coaching background includes stints at Brentford, Arsenal, and Southampton, showcasing his wealth of experience in English football. This appointment follows the recent additions of Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy as first-team assistant managers, as well as Jelle ten Rouwelaar as a goalkeeping coach, reinforcing Man United's coaching staff for the upcoming season under new management. The club's strategic moves aim to strengthen their coaching team and enhance their performance on the field in the competitive Premier League environment.
