Grammy award-winning Afrobeats sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has been nominated for 7 accolades at the prestigious Africa Arts Entertainments Award (AAEA).
These awards aim to acknowledge and honor the accomplishments of music artists from Africa.
Wizkid's nomination has generated excitement among fans as he vies for recognition in various significant categories, including AAEA Continental Artist of the Year and AAEA Best Continental Male Artist.
The acclaimed artist is also up for Continental Album/EP of the Year for his work "S2," in addition to nominations for his collaborations and singles: Best Continental Intl Feature for “Work Me Out,” Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit for “IDK,” Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Money & Love,” and Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Ebelebe.”
The award ceremony is set to be held on August 17, 2024, in Kenya.
