She recounted how Olamide refused ₦100 million payment for a verse in her song, as requested by his management team.
According to the Stamina singer, Olamide waived the fee due to their close relationship and his understanding of the challenges female musicians encounter in the industry.
In a display of kindness and support, Olamide generously contributed the verse without charge, showcasing his compassionate nature.
Tiwa Savage expressed her appreciation and recognized the presence of kind-hearted individuals in the music industry, citing Olamide as an example.
The singer, who just dropped her latest track 'Commona' with Olamide & Mystro emphasized the importance of such positive influences.
In her words;
“I was talking to his management, I didn’t want to talk to him directly cus he would want to do it for free. Spoke to his team and they charged N100m. I was willing to pay. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, they said me and he just said NO. He won’t take it.
He said I am his sister and he knows how difficult it is to make it in the industry as a woman. That’s how he denied and guess what? He gave me the verse for Free. Good people exist and Baddo is one”
